Pet Wellness Care

Annual exams and wellness care are a great benefit to your pet because it creates a baseline for us to care for them at any age. By scheduling annual visits we can gather an overall picture of your pet’s health and maintain records of any future health concerns. Our wellness visits include a consultation with our veterinarians to discuss your pet’s daily routine and any health concerns you may have. Also, an examination from nose to tail is performed to check your pet over for any issues you may not see at home. They examine the head and neck, mouth, eyes, ears, abdomen, skin, musculoskeletal system, and the heart and lungs. We can also help with any dietary or behavioral questions you may have.

Pet Boarding

We strive to provide loving care for our guests while their pet parents are away. Our staff is focused on keeping your pet happy while you are gone. To help their stay even more enjoyable, we offer extra amenities you can add to their boarding while they are here. They include cuddle time, brush time, extra playtime, and extra outside time, and daily text alerts. The vaccinations we require for boarding are:

Dogs– Rabies, Dalpp vaccine, Bordetella (every 6 months), Canine Influenza (H3N2/H3N8)

Cats– Rabies and FVRCP vaccine

Pet Grooming

Our clinic has three professional and experienced in-house groomers for your pet’s pampering needs. Their goal is to provide excellent grooming in a quality environment. Each groomer will do what it takes to make your dog (or cat) look great!

Pet Surgery

Any surgery that your pet needs can seem like a stressful time for any family. Our clinic tries to make the process for all procedures an easy transition throughout your pet’s stay with us. We offer many common surgical procedures and some emergency procedures all done here at our clinic. We do require pre-anesthestic blood work before your pet’s surgery to rule out any underlying health issues before their procedure. When your pet is ready to be picked up we will discuss any discharge instructions or medications sent home. Most common procedures your pet can go home the same day as the surgery.

Pet Dental Services

Our veterinarians check all patients teeth during their annual or wellness exams. If we find your pet has a large amount of tartar build up or loose teeth we may recommend a dental cleaning. Our dentals are performed just like any other surgery in our clinic. A doctor and technician use general anesthesia to perform the procedure and closely monitor their vital signs during the dental cleaning. Our dentals include ultra-sonic scaling of the tartar and are polished afterwards. We can also perform extractions as needed depending on the level of dental disease.

In-House Pet Diagnostics

Our hospital offers in-house testing with results available the day of your visit.  The clinic uses Heska Diagnostic testing machines which allow us to test for a wide variety of issues should your pet need immediate medical care with fast results. Or, just creating a baseline history of their overall health at any age. We offer in-house chemistry and complete blood count testing, thyroid panels, urinalysis, and intestinal parasite screens all available for results during your pet’s visit or day of surgery.

Pet Microchipping

Our clinic offers and recommends microchipping your pet. As a pet owner you hope nothing ever happens to separate you from your cat or dog. But, microchipping allows some peace of mind if your pet is lost they can hopefully make their way home to you. We use Save this Life brand chip and it includes lifetime registration of your pet. No extra fees to make changes to your information.
