Laboratory
Our hospital offers in-house testing with results available the day of your visit. The clinic uses testing machines which allow us to test for a wide variety of issues should your pet need immediate medical care with fast results. Or, just creating a baseline history of their overall health at any age.
We offer in-house chemistry and complete blood count testing, electrolyte panels, thyroid panels, urinalysis, and intestinal parasite screens all available for results during your pet’s visit or day of surgery.
We are able to send tests to a reference laboratory for more in depth and specialty tests. Most results are available 48- 72 hours after submission, depending on the test.
Radiology (X-rays)
Our hospital offers digital x-ray which allows for fast diagnostics while you are here for your pet’s appointment. Our veterinarians use radiographs to detect an array of issues or concerns for your pet.
X-rays can help diagnose issues such as orthopedic issues, tumors, arthritis, bone injuries, heart issues, GI obstruction, and urinary issues.
Our digital x-ray machine allows for quick view of your pet’s problem and also allows us to conveniently share the file with other clinics or doctors.
Ultrasound
We conveniently offer ultrasound services for both dogs and cats. We use ultrasound to assess the bladder and collect sterile urine samples for culture. We also use the ultrasound to evaluate the health of the liver, spleen, kidneys, stomach and intestine. Ultrasonography also helps us quickly evaluate the severity of abdominal injuries and to quantify abnormal structures within the abdomen.
